Quick Search
By Category Only
To search just one category select a category from the
drop-down list and click 'Search'.
By Category and a Subcategory
Select a category as above, then a subcategory from the
drop-down list and click 'Search'.
Keyword Search
The 'Keyword Search' can be used independently or in addition
to the category and subcategory fields.
Type in the keyword(s) relevant to your search and click
'Search'.
You can use more than one keyword by separating each keyword
with 'and/or' (see examples below) and click 'Search'.
Example 1
If searching for passengers with luggage input passengers
and luggage and click 'Search'.
Example 2
If searching for either buses and trains, but not necessarily
in the same image, you can input buses or trains and click search.
Category, Subcategory and Keyword Search Combined
Choose your category and subcategory, if applicable, and then
enter in your keyword(s) to refine your your quick search and click 'Search'.
Image Reference
If you know the image reference number, enter it into the
image reference box and click search.
Advanced Search
The 'Advanced Search' allows you to refine your search
criteria to a much greater degree. You can use the 'Advanced Search'
independently or in combination with the 'Quick Search' facility.
Advanced Search Layout
The 'Advanced Search' allows you to search within the
keywords or the image caption. The and/or drop-down menus can be used to
further refine your search.
There are three boxes provided to enter your keywords with
the following options:
Contains
Searches for images where the keyword/caption contains the
keyword you have entered.
Matches
Searches for images where the keyword/caption matches the
keyword you have entered.
Does Not Contain
Eliminates all images containing the keyword you have
entered.
Once you have entered your search criteria click 'Search'. To
clear all the search criteria, click 'Reset'.
