Frequently Asked Questions
During normal business
hours, which are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30, we try to dispatch the
electronic images (up to A4 size) via email or ISDN within an hour of
confirming the order, dependent on the number of images requested. Images
supplied on CD-ROM will normally be dispatched same day by first class post.
Images supplied at a resolution larger than A4 at 300 dpi may require
rescanning. If the order is confirmed by midday we will try to rescan the
originals and dispatch the order on the same day. Otherwise the order will be
dispatched the next working day.
Images are supplied as
either RGB TIFF or RGB JPEG files. All images supplied via email or ISDN will
normally be supplied as RGB JPEGs. We can supply RGB TIFF files on CD-ROM.
Our archived images are
designed to print slightly larger than A4 at 300 dpi. If a larger image is
required we may need to rescan the original, this will incur an additional
rescan fee. Please contact us to discuss the additional cost.

Yes, all images on the website are copyright of BAA Limited and subject to usage

Once your order is
confirmed we will supply the images and an invoice will be dispatched, usually
within 14 days. Payment can be made by cheque or using the BACS payment system.
Yes, for non-UK clients
it is our preferred method for payment. For UK clients we usually request
payment by cheque or bank transfer.
All photography on this
library is copyrighted. Images can only be used on your website if we have
licensed them for that particular use and a suitable reproduction fee has been
agreed.
We are constantly
shooting new imagery for the library and aim to update the content every two
months.
Although we do allow
enhancement or manipulation of our images, you will need to contact us to
discuss the context in which you intend to use the retouched result.
Yes, the low-resolution
images can be downloaded for use in compositional design layouts only. Click
the Download Preview link on the image preview page to download a suitable low
resolution image.
Yes, if we have supplied
you with a high resolution image and for some reason you have decided not to
use it you will need to inform us within 14 days from delivery. A £20
cancellation fee is then applicable, otherwise the full agreed usage fee is
payable.
No, BAA Limited owns the
copyright of the all the images on the library. Once the image(s) have been
used for the agreed terms, it should be deleted from your storage system. Any
future use must be renegotiated. The image will then be re-supplied.
No. Unfortunately at
present we do not supply images for personal use. We are strictly a business to
business service.
No, unfortunately at
present our collection dates from 1997 to the present day.
No, celebrity photography
at the airports is normally carried out by the national press.
